ISONOM® NKN 8 0886is made of Polyimide or Kapton® (Du Pont) film and it's covered on both sides with calendered Nomex®(Du Pont) type 416. Each layer of Nomex® aramid paper is 0,080 mm thick. It’s possible to obtain a wide range of laminated materials changing the thickness of the polyimide film.

Minimum working temperature:
Nomex® -196°C / resin -60°C / Polyimide -60°C
Characteristics: Insulating paper suitable for transformers insulation, it can be used into the motor’s slots and in all those electrical applications that require:
excellent electrical insulation - excellent mechanical resistance – excellent thermal resistance.
Availability:Rolls up to 920 mm in width, slit rolls starting from 7 mm in height, inner diameter 76 mm.
cut pieces - custom shaped and die cut pieces according to drawings and customer’s request.
Color: White (red stripes with registered trademark and green stripes)
The flexible insulating material ISONOM® NKN 8 0886 must be stored in the original packaging in cool and dry places (relative humidity 50%).
Processing are carried out both on insulating papers normally available in stock, and on other insulation papers on customer request.
Any type of insulating paper can be supplied as follows:
- Whole original rolls or unpacked rolls
- Rolls cut to the width required by the customer
- Edged rolls
- Fringed rolls
- Customized processing is carried out under specific customer request (e.g.: moulded, die cut...)
