NON-ADHESIVE POLYESTER SHRINKABLE TAPE – Thermal Class F 155°C
Polyester shrinkable tapes are woven using yarns that show high shrinkage at high temperatures.
They are therefore indispensable to realize, using an appropriate thermal treatment, self-locking windings; they are recommended for intermediate heat classes.
Heat-shrinkable tapes are universally used for the insulation of transformer cores in air and oil.
They are also often used as sacrifice tapes in the winding of electric machines.
Particularly suitable for taping the windings of electric motors, transformers and coils. This tape has the capability to shrink with heat, thereby blocking the taped parts.
