NOMEX® T410 – Thermal Class H 180°C
NOMEX® T 410
Nomex® T410 is made of is made from an aromatic polyamide usually known as aramid. The paper is obtained from two types of the same polymer: little fibrous particles mixed with short fibres.
Maximum working temperature: 180°C – H dielectric class limit (approved 220°C by USA Navy)
Characteristics: insulating paper suitable as interlayer insulator in transformers, into the motor’s slots, to cover copper and aluminium wires or flat wires, reactors and magnets and in all those electrical applications that require:
good electric insulation - good mechanical resistance – excellent thermal resistance.
Availability: Rolls 914 mm in width , slit rolls starting from mm 7 in height, inner diameter 76 mm; the material can be cut, shaped and die-cut according to requirements or customer's design.
Color: Ivory
Processing are carried out both on insulating papers normally available in stock, and on other insulation papers on customer request.
Any type of insulating paper can be supplied as follows:
- Whole original rolls or unpacked rolls
- Rolls cut to the width required by the customer
- Edged rolls
- Fringed rolls
- Customized processing is carried out under specific customer request (e.g.: shaped items, die cut, slot wedges...)
