VOLTAFLEX® 2598 (DMD Insaturo)- Thermal Class B 130°C – Thermal Class F 155°C

VOLTAFLEX® 2598 is made of a polyester film covered on both sides with a layer of polyester TNT (non-woven fabric). The polyester TNT film increases the resistance to aging of the polyester. Its feature of being "70% saturated"allows the impregnation with insulating resins. These resins will make it completely saturated, determining the thermal class of the material. It’s possible to obtain a wide range of laminated materials changing the thickness of the polyester film.

Maximum working temperature: 130°C (IEC 60626) – B dielectric class limit
For thicknesses: 0,14 and 0,15 mm: 130°C (UL 1446) - B dielectric class limit
For other thicknesses: 155°C (UL 1446) - F dielectric class limit

Minimum working temperature: resin -60°C / Polyester film -60°C

Insulating paper suitable for transformers insulation, it can be used into the motor’s slots and in all those electrical applications that require:
excellent electric insulation – excellent mechanical resistance – excellent thermal resistance.

Availability: Rolls 1000 mm in width , slit rolls starting from mm 7 in height, inner diameter 76 mm; the material can be cut, shaped and die-cut according to requirements or customer's design.

Processing are carried out both on insulating papers normally available in stock, and on other insulation papers on customer request.
Any type of insulating paper can be supplied as follows:
- Whole original rolls or unpacked rolls
- Rolls cut to the width required by the customer
- Edged rolls
- Fringed rolls
- Customized processing is carried out under specific customer request (e.g.: moulded, die cut...)

Slit rolls for slot wedges (outer diameter 700/720) are available on request
